Railfanning.org launches new site for streetcars in Clarksville, Tennessee

Railfanning.org has launched a new site dedicated to the history of streetcars in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The site — available at Railfanning.org/history/clarksville-street/ — covers the start of streetcars in 1885 and runs through their end in 1928.

The website includes expansive information about railroads in Clarksville, including a section dedicated to the Memphis, Clarksville & Louisville and the Tennessee Central railroads. It also includes a section with information about the Western & Atlantic Railroad.

The DeFeo Groupe is publishing a brief history of streetcars in Clarksville later this year.
