Aviation Weather Improvement Act

In June 2023, U.S. Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Georgia, introduced the Aviation Weather Improvement Act to enhance National Weather Service modeling for aviation purposes by requiring better commercially available data.

According to a news release, the Aviation Weather Act was to be included in the Weather Reauthorization Package in the United States House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
