Delta Air Lines

A Delta Air Lines plane today returned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after crew members discovered an emergency exit was not properly closed.

In the wake of what the airline called a “perfect combination of unstable air, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and strong winds converging over the American Southeast impacted Delta’s busiest hub for much of the day,” the airline canceled hundreds of flights.

The Delta Flight Museum, which showcases a time when flying was more enjoyable, has added a Boeing 747-400 to its fleet of display aircraft.
