ATLANTA — Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard wants to make Atlanta and Fulton County a safer place.
“I want to conquer our violent crime rate in the city,” the Northside Neighbor quoted Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard as telling the Buckhead Business association. “Even now, our violent crime rate is rated as No. 9 in the whole country. We are ahead of Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. How could that be, because there are more homicides in Chicago and other cities? (Because) it’s a per-capita rate.”
The district attorney touted a five-part crime plan that could help reduce crime in the city and the county.
