The mayor of Atlanta is urging Atlantans to stay at home if at all possible as the city was brought to its keens following two inches of snowfall. Atlanta was pounded by two inches of snow on Tuesday, and the economic engine of the Southeast is expected to remain closed today and possibly tomorrow as officials grapple with how to clear highways return the city to normalcy.

The Atlanta area and the state of Georgia are a laughing stock of the nation after nearly every road in the region turned into one massive traffic jam that has lasted more than 12 hours. Elected and nonelected officials should be embarrassed. Leaders tout this city as an economic player on the global stage? Two inches of snow and the city is paralyzed. Leaders failed to lead. They failed to plan. They failed to take
