Globetrotting

It’s a mix of the city’s culture, its history and its feeling of remoteness that make Auckland unique. It seems like many people who come to New Zealand make a beeline for the remote hiking tracks. Worthy as they are, don’t sleep on Auckland.

With each snap of the shutter, I convinced myself we just encountered the most beautiful vista. But we were proven continuously wrong. I would say disappointed, but nothing was disappointing about the drive.

A roughly 36-hour jaunt across the border to Vancouver provided the perfect opportunity to see a new city with minimal planning.
