Up-close tour of Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center to end Feb. 11

Visitors interested in receiving unprecedented access to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at Kennedy Space Center now have until only Feb. 11 to enjoy the KSC Up-Close Tour of the VAB.

The 40-foot-tall “Monument of States” was built from stones from all 48 states at the time of its completion. The structure contains 1,500 rocks from all 50 states and 22 countries. A number of parties, including tourists, governors, a prime minister and President Franklin D. Roosevelt, also donated stones to the cause.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida – The 20th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off this week at Walt Disney World. This year’s festival, which is presented by HGTV, runs through May 19.
