Wellington is often called the “Coolest Little Capital” in the world. Some may have cooled on the moniker, but there is something effervescent about this city.
Maybe it’s just the caffeine talking, but this is a city that begs to be explored. Whether it’s popping into a record store in search of an album by a random kiwi artist, a local beer at a pub along Cuba Street or watching the ferry pull into port (presuming it’s not stuck at sea), this city is full of intrigue.
Standing at the top of Mount Victoria, the city seems so peaceful, any problems in the world so far away. It does remind one, however, that this is the real Windy City.
