KENNESAW, Ga. — The Kennesaw Museum Foundation is conducting a socially distanced fundraiser to benefit the Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History.

The Great Locomotive Railroad Roam, a scavenger hunt focused on local history, runs until April 12. It costs $25 per team to participate, and after registering, participants will receive a list of clues and instructions.

Participants must solve 10 of the 15 clues and post their submission — either a photo montage or a video — to the Great Locomotive Railroad Roam Facebook page.

Organizers will pick events in several categories:

  • Most Creative: Put your own unique twist on your montage
  • Most Artistic: Make your entry the most aesthetically pleasing or artsy
  • Fan Favorite: The entry that receives the most likes

Proceeds benefit the Kennesaw Museum Foundation in support of the Southern Museum. All donations are tax-deductible.
