CONYERS, Ga. — When it comes to the COVID-19-mandated lock downs, the idea of traveling seems like a foreign concept.
In trying to find a silver lining, I realized maybe it’s that we can enjoy our surroundings a little more.
I was recently standing in a pasture, a place I’ve stood dozens — probably hundreds — of times before. The view on that particular Saturday evening was stunning.
The sun shined perfectly across a century-old Oak, throwing beautiful shadows across the pasture.
It’s all about the vantage point, and how the sun shines on a particular day. You could walk by the tree countless times, and it looks different every time.
Even after 100 years of standing here, it’s probably never looked like this before, and it will probably never look exactly like this again.
