ATLANTA — Chefs from some of the city’s hottest restaurants will come together next month for the annual Taste of Buckhead.
“Atlanta is a true food destination, and Buckhead is at the center of the best the city has to offer,” Kelly Green, chair of this year’s event, told BuckHaven Lifestyle magazine. “Taste of Buckhead gives attendees a unique opportunity to not only sample the best of what some of the city’s hottest chefs have to offer, but also experience dishes from chefs they might not yet know.”
The Buckhead Business Association (BBA) event runs from 6:30 until 10 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the famed Buckhead Theatre. A VIP reception featuring chef demonstrations, special cocktails and exclusive food items is set for 7 p.m.
“The Taste of Buckhead is one of the foremost opportunities to experience the best that Atlanta has to offer,” said Smita Solanki, executive director of the BBA. “Atlanta has arrived as a food destination, and this event is the perfect place for locals and visitors alike to meet and greet some of the city’s best chefs.”
Brian Lee, executive chef at the JW Marriott Buckhead Atlanta, is the event’s first confirmed featured chef. Additional featured chefs will be announced leading up to the event in September.
Gas South is the presenting sponsor of this year’s Taste of Buckhead, while Keurig is a platinum sponsor. Other sponsors include Bank of North Georgia and Georgia Primary Bank as gold sponsors and Metcalf Davis and Private Bank of Buckhead as silver sponsors.
