Miguel Southwell’s service as Aviation General Manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport “has ended,” the city of Atlanta said in a news release. Roosevelt Council, the airport’s aviation deputy general manager and chief financial officer, will serve as interim aviation general manager.
TSA agents nationwide found 2,653 firearms in carry-on bags at airports across the country in 2015, the agency said. That is an average of more than seven firearms every day.
