Robert’s Western World
Robert’s Western World is a Nashville honky-tonk that harkens back to an earlier era in the city’s history. It blends live country music, cold drinks, and authentic Southern charm. Known for its nightly performances featuring local artists, Robert’s Western World offers a slice of classic Nashville and its famed “Recession Special” meal deal featuring a fried bologna sandwich, chips, a Moon Pie and a PBR.

Ross’s Diner
Since 1945, Ross’ Diner has served up old-fashioned dining such as chili, steak and gravy, and hamburgers to hungry patrons who belly up to its U-shaped lunch counter.
Harold “Hal” Ross owned and operated the restaurant from 1988 until he died in 2014.
The Best of Enemies, starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell, was partially filed at the diner in June 2017.
Rusty Pelican Restaurant
Located in the heart of Matakana, the locally owned and family-run Rusty Pelican Restaurant and Rusty Sportsbar has served locals and holidaymakers since 1998.
Originally starting as the Matakana Service Station Workshop, Daniel Baturic Snr transformed it into the Rusty Pelican Restaurant and Rusty Pelican Sports Bar (formerly known as the Tui Bar). It provides a family-friendly dining experience and a separate bar for sports fans.
Its menu includes a range of pizzas.
