Wreck on Interstate 20 closes highway

ATLANTA – A wreck on Interstate 20 west of Atlanta late Saturday night shut down the highway’s westbound lanes. The wreck also caused delays on southbound lanes of Interstate 285 near its interchange with the east-west road. The backup on both roads appeared to be causing other problems. “There were lots of other little wrecks” possibly resulting from the backup, one witness said. News/Talk 750 WSB reported the wreck involved a motorcycle and was fatal.

Speed May Be to Blame for China Rail Crash

Railfanning.org News Wire ZIBO, China — Excessive speed could be to blame for a Monday (April 28) train crash that killed at least 70 people and sent hundreds more to the hospital. According to a Xinhua news report, an express train traveling to the east China city of Qingdao from Beijing  was traveling 131 kph (81 mph) in an 80 kph (50 mph) zone.
