Southeastern Railway Museum hosting Type-In on Jan. 20

DULUTH, Ga. — The Southeastern Railway Museum will host typewriter enthusiasts from across the region during the Southeastern Typewriter Type-In.

During the event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, the museum will also display artifacts and items from its archives interpreting the role typewriters played in railroad operations over the year.

The event is open to the public with paid admission, and attendees are encouraged to bring their typewriters. Typewriter enthusiasts will be on hand all day to help repair typewriters.

Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 65 and older and $7 for children between the ages of two and 12 years old.
