What is the best restaurant in Atlanta?

ATLANTA — Atlanta’s famed Bone’s restaurant in the trendy Buckhead community was named the best restaurant in the city by Zagat.

According to Zagat, the Top 10 best Atlanta restaurants are:

  1. Bone’s Restaurant
  2. Aria
  3. Antico Pizza Napoletana
  4. Umi Buckhead
  5. Chops Lobster Bar
  6. Pampas Steakhouse
  7. Tomo Japanese Restaurant
  8. Fogo de Chão Churrascaria
  9. Rathbun’s
  10. Bacchanalia

Interestingly, six of the top 10 restaurants are located in Buckhead. Only one of the top 10 best restaurants — Pampas Steakhouse — is located in the suburbs, or outside the Perimeter (OTP).

Bone’s opened in 1979 and is often ranked among the best restaurants not just in Atlanta, but nationally. Of Bone’s, Zagat said:

“Always the first choice” of many for “corporate parties” or “special occasions”, Buckhead’s “clubby”, “ritzy” bastion of meat “never disappoints” with “indescribable” steaks that are “bad to da bone”, a “stellar wine list” and “professional” service that “can’t be topped”; though it’s “pricey”, most agree “you get your money’s worth.”
