Georgia lawmakers have introduced legislation they say would allow “microenterprise operations” and home-based businesses to work out of home kitchens and in compliance with state law.
Since the end of the Civil War, the raid was memorialized in film and books, but the best way to learn about the events of April 12, 1862, is by following the tracks of the raiders themselves.
Local agencies, including Gwinnett County Transit, Gwinnett County Public Schools, Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services and MARTA, will display buses and equipment during this weekend’s Trains, Trucks & Tractors at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth. The event continues from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (Saturday, Aug. 3) and tomorrow (Sunday, Aug. 4).
