Callaway Gardens offers free admission

Callaway Gardens is offering guests free admission as part of its “Be Our Guest” promotion.

“In times such as now, we need to enjoy the simpler things in life like spending time with family and friends riding bikes, walking trails or witnessing the flight of birds and butterflies,” Edward Callaway, chairman and CEO for the Ida Cason Callaway Foundation, said in a news release. “There is no better place than a beautiful setting such as Callaway Gardens and its many attractions. For those who have visited Callaway Gardens before, we want to show our appreciation for their patronage and for their support our mission of connecting man and nature. For those who have not had the opportunity, we invite you to experience Callaway Gardens for yourself.”

Callaway Gardens is located one hour southwest of Atlanta. In the January 2009 issue, Southern Living readers voted Callaway Gardens the Best Public Garden.
