Las Vegas welcomed 42.9 million visitors in 2016, surpassing 2015’s record-setting 42.3 million, new numbers from the as Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reveal.
No one wants to travel to some boring destination. Luckily, the folks at WalletHub examined the country’s 150 largest cities and determined Las Vegas is the “Most Fun” city.
Las Vegas continued its historic visitation growth, setting another new record by surpassing 42 million visitors for the first time. This breaks last year’s record of 41.1 million, which was the first time the destination had ever topped 40 million.
Throngs of family vacationers flock to Las Vegas for the copious kid-friendly activity and entertainment options the city now has to offer, but many seek luxury lodging that provides a reprieve from the casino atmosphere central to most of the hotels on the Strip.
