State Representative Mesha Mainor (R-Atlanta), along with local officials, dignitaries, family, friends and members of Atlanta’s business community, will gather on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 12 p.m. to pay homage and to unveil the Maceo A. Brown Memorial intersection sign.

On October 8, Chairman of the Senate Committee on State Institutions and Property, Sen. Ed Harbison (D–Columbus), will participate in the designation of the interchange of Interstate 185 at US-27-Alternate/Manchester Expressway as the Honorable Richard H. Smith Memorial Interchange in Columbus, Georgia.

State Representative Scott Hilton (R–Peachtree Corners) was recently honored by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) with the 2024 Humane Legislator Award.
