Portillo’s, an Illinois-based fast-casual chain famous for its Chicago-style street food, is set to open its first Georgia location next year, according to a report.
The new restaurant will be located at Town Center at Cobb on Ernest W. Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw and will feature Portillo’s innovative “restaurant of the future” design, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. That 6,250-square-foot space can accommodate more than 125 guests, according to the report.
The establishment’s features will include an outdoor patio with seating for 40 guests and double drive-thru lanes. The menu will include Portillo’s signature items, such as Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, grilled burgers and chocolate cake.
