Report: First Georgia Portillo’s to open in 2025

Portillo’s, an Illinois-based fast-casual chain famous for its Chicago-style street food, is set to open its first Georgia location next year, according to a report.

The new restaurant will be located at Town Center at Cobb on Ernest W. That 6,250-square-foot space can accommodate more than 125 guests, according to the report.

The establishment’s features will include an outdoor patio with seating for 40 guests and double drive-thru lanes. The menu will include Portillo’s signature items, such as Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, grilled burgers and chocolate cake.
