A new study examining 200 U.S. cities found Washington was a top destination for diverse cuisine.
According to research from Preply, New York City ranked second, Philadelphia ranked third, and Atlanta ranked 10th for the country’s most diverse food scene.
The most prevalent types of diverse restaurants in Atlanta include Mexican, Southern American, and Japanese cuisine. Across the nation, Mexican and Chinese eateries were the most common in various cities.
“Delicious,” “fresh,” and “tasty” were among the words frequently used in food reviews to describe meals in the U.S. Notably, Eastern European cuisine received the most praise for its authenticity.
