More than two million Georgians have cast ballots in advance of the Nov. 5 presidential election.

Wednesday marked the 10th day of early voting for the presidential election. As of Thursday at 1:30 p.m., more than 2.1 million voters have cast ballots, a mark that elections officials said shatters previous early voting numbers.

On the tenth day of early voting, more than 1.3 million people turned out in 2020, 1.1 million voted early in 2022, and 730,706 people turned out in 2018.

“Georgia voters know we’ve made it easy to cast a ballot. It’s really that simple,” Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in an announcement.

“Over the past four years we’ve worked tirelessly to prepare for this election by adding Early Voting days and investing in infrastructure, only to be rewarded with the lies of Jim Crow 2.0 and a missed All-Star Game,” Raffensperger added. “We’re battled tested and ready, despite the critics.”
