The website considered a range of criteria, including festive activities, weather, dining, hotels and transportation. Georgia is home to the top two best Christmas towns in the country — Helen and Blue Ridge ranked No. 1 and No. 2, and three Georgia towns rank in the top ten.
Using the data points, the site gave each town a “Christmas Town Index Score,” representing the quality of a Christmas break visitors could have.
