Alcohol measures headed toward passage in Cobb

Voters throughout Cobb County passed measures allowing alcohol sales with brunch starting at 11 a.m.

It appeared voters in Austell, Kennesaw, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna passed referendums. It also passed in unincorporated Cobb County.

Meanwhile, voters across Georgia passed all five amendments to the state constitution, WSB-AM reported. In Henry County, a proposal to create a city of Eagle’s Landing from a portion of Stockbridge failed, according to the radio station.
