Southern Museum to host train event on Jan. 30-31

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a motion on Thursday to join Florida’s lawsuit against the ongoing sailing orders issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which have prevented cruise lines from restarting business.

KENNESAW, Ga. — The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History will host its popular “Trains, Trains, Trains” event later this month.

The sixth annual installment of the railroad-themed event will be held over two days for the first time ever. “Trains” will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday, Jan. 30, and Sunday, Jan. 31.

This year’s event will feature more model train layouts, and guests will have the opportunity to interact and operate select layouts. Festivities will also feature activities for families and an expanded General Emporium gift store selling a wide range of train-themed items.
