ATLANTA — The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View offers perhaps the best view of Atlanta.
The restaurant sits atop the 73-story Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel and has been spinning guests since it opened in 1978. The Westin was the tallest building in Atlanta until 1987; it is today the fifth-tallest building in Atlanta and the tallest hotel in the Southeast.

A federal judge in Amarillo, Texas, on Tuesday found a JetBlue Airways pilot who left the cockpit mid-flight after telling his colleagues “things just don’t matter” not guilty by reason of insanity, The Associated Press reported.
