Georgia Tech holds on for 42-38 win over Georgia Southern

Justin Thomas completed 11 of 24 passes for 188 yards and four touchdowns as Georgia Tech held on to defeat Georgia Southern in Atlanta on Saturday.

Tech jumped to an early 14-0 lead and took a 35-10 lead in halftime, only to see the Eagles put up 28 unanswered points to pull ahead in the fourth quarter.

Down 38-35 with only seconds remaining, Thomas connected with Deon Hill on a 13-yard touchdown pass to cap the victory for the Yellow Jackets and avoid an upset.
