Barry Zito is out?

Divisional series starting rotations were set Tuesday and both Barry Zito and A.J. Burnett are the odd men out, according to media reports.

The Yankees are planning to start CC Sabathia, Andy Petittitte and Phil Huges in their series against the Minnesota Twins.

The Atlanta Braves are planning to start Derek Lowe, Tommy Hanson and Tim Hudson in their series against the San Francisco Giants. Rookie Brandon Beachy could start game four.

“This is (Phillies starter) Roy Halladay’s first postseason, and he’s been waiting for how many years?” MLB.com quoted Beachy as saying. “I’ve been in the big leagues for two weeks, maybe, and I’m going to my first. It’s hard to grasp that this is real.”

Meanwhile, Barry Zito looks to be out of a Giants rotation that could include rookie Madison Bumgarner.
