Authorities dug up the 13th hole of a Braselton golf course on Tuesday looking for the body of a Winterville woman missing since July 2002.
Robert Eugene Hill, 47, of Pendergrass is charged with concealing a death and abandoning a body in the disappearance of 19-year-old Kayla Marie Wills, Oglethorpe County Sheriff Mike Smith said Tuesday. Hill has not been charged with killing Wills.
Investigators have not yet recovered Wills’ body and do not know the cause of her death. Hill, however, pointed authorities to the location of Wills’ body — at a golf course in Traditions of Braselton — sparking Tuesday’s search.
