City officials are mulling a plan to spend more than $10 million to buy a 13-acre site that formerly was home to a hospital, according to reports.

Incumbent Cobb County Commissioner Monique Sheffield will face off against Republican Matthew Hardwick in the April special general election for the District 4 seat following last week’s primary.
