An investment group has purchased the St. Regis Hotel from a group of partners that included the hotel’s developers.

Merlin Entertainments on Wednesday announced plans to build the $12 million Legoland Discovery Center (LDC) in Phipps Plaza.

Passenger traffic at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport increased by 1.51 percent in 2010, and the airport retained its title as the “busiest passenger airport in the world.”
