Psych is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks for USA Network.
The show premiered on July 7, 2006, and concluded on March 26, 2014, spanning eight seasons with 120 episodes.
The series stars James Roday Rodriguez as Shawn Spencer, a young crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department. Shawn possesses heightened observational skills and an impressive eidetic memory, which he uses to convince people that he solves cases with his psychic abilities.
His best friend and reluctant partner, Burton “Gus” Guster, played by Dulé Hill, assists him in solving complicated cases.
