Smyrna council approves FY12 budget

SMYRNA, Ga. — The Smyrna City Council recently passed a $70.9 million annual budget for Fiscal Year 2012, an increase of nearly 6 percent over the previous year’s budget. City officials said they will not need to lay off or furlough any city employees or close any facilities. Deal appoints liaisons for Atlanta public schools
