The reality is, I take a lot of dam pictures.
I don’t know why. Sometimes you stumble on a scene, and you say to yourself, “That’s a dam view.” Then, you take a picture. Do you need it? No, but you add it to your dam collection — a repository of dam photos.
Then, you stumble on it one day, years later and say, “dam…I’m glad I took that dam photo of the Clyde Dam in Otago, New Zealand, in November 2019.”
