SMYRNA, Georgia — The city council is poised to approve an agreement to buy a Georgia Power-occupied building on Concord Road.
On Monday, the council will consider an agreement for the Downtown Development Authority to buy a 2.39-acre property located at 1088 Concord Road from Piedmont Forrest Corp., a subsidiary of Georgia Power, for roughly $1.7 million.
Sightseers’ Delight started publishing in June 2016. The site, published by The DeFeo Groupe, collects and curates content about places where historical events large and small happened. The site builds off the legacy of The Travel Trolley, which launched in June 2009. The site aimed to be a virtual version of the trolley tours offered in so many cities.
