Suwanee-based StillFire Brewing broke ground earlier this month on its second brewery, a location in downtown Smyrna.
According to officials, StillFire is building a two-story, 15,000-square-foot brewery near the Smyrna Community Center. The brewery, part of a larger downtown Smyrna overhaul, could open next fall, officials indicated.
Sightseers’ Delight started publishing in June 2016. The site, published by The DeFeo Groupe, collects and curates content about places where historical events large and small happened. The site builds off the legacy of The Travel Trolley, which launched in June 2009. The site aimed to be a virtual version of the trolley tours offered in so many cities.
SMYRNA, Ga. — The Smyrna City Council recently passed a $70.9 million annual budget for Fiscal Year 2012, an increase of nearly 6 percent over the previous year’s budget. City officials said they will not need to lay off or furlough any city employees or close any facilities. In addition, the city did not need to dip into its reserve funds to cover the budget or increase the millage rate, which has remained at 8.99
