Why I love the desert landscape

I love the desert landscape, particularly when I am taking pictures. It just looks different than so many other places, but it is no less scenic.

People often think of it as a barren place, but it is teeming with life. Maybe I’m just “all hopped up on cactus juice.”

Here is a picture I snapped in May in Tucson, Arizona, a city home to incredible food, culture and numerous opportunities to take photographs of saguaros.
