Georgia lawmaker looks to up penalties for bad drivers

ATLANTA – State Representative El-Mahdi Holly, D-Stockbridge, recently introduced House Bill 351, legislation that would set penalties for driving violations observed by law enforcement. “The safety of our children remains a top priority,” Holly said in a news release. “By mandating stiffer penalties against behavior that places our children in danger, we can encourage drivers to act more responsibly behind the wheel.” House Bill 351 would set new fine requirements for violations of this code
