New ‘gatsro hall’ in the works at Curaçao International Airport

A new food court is currently under construction at Curaçao International Airport.

É Marshe is slated to open at the end of the year, antilliaansdagblad.com reported.

The website reported the cuisine at the soon-to-open food hall will be inspired by the famed Plasa Bieu in downtown Willemstad. The open-air market, currently undergoing a refurbishment, offers a range of traditional Curaçaoan dishes.

Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) and Café Barista inked the deal for the new hall, multiple reports suggest.

The airport is undergoing a number of upgrades in addition to the forthcoming food hall. Upgrades, including are floors, are in progress in the departures terminal and the main concourse.
