Atlanta group fed up with campaign signs in right of way

ATLANTA (defeo.biz) — A group of concerned Atlanta residents is cracking down on campaign signs placed in the right of way of local roads.

“It’s just unfair that candidates play the game not according to the rules,” WSB-TV quoted Charlie Paine said. “It’s state code and municipal code and they’re not enforcing it on themselves.”

The group, “Atlantans Demanding Political Accountability,” is “tagging campaign signs that are in the right of way with big yellow stickers—which cite the various codes that regulate them,” the television station reported.
