Bistro Le Clochard in Curaçao has closed, report suggests

A popular restaurant in the Otrabanda section of Willemstad in Curaçao has apparently closed, according to a report.

French restaurant Bistro Le Clochard was one of the most upscale restaurants on the island. The restaurant, which opened in 1978, was located in the historic Rif Fort.

According to a report on antilliaansdagblad.com, the owner of the restaurant filed for bankruptcy. It is unclear if a new owner will assume operations or if the restaurant will reopen.
