22 Restaurants Now Confirmed for September’s Taste of Buckhead

ATLANTA — Five new restaurants have joined the roster for September’s Taste of Buckhead, an event that allows attendees to taste dishes from some of Buckhead’s premier restaurants and sample more than 50 wines, beers and spirits.

American Food & Beverage, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Thirteen Pies, Corso Coffee and A Piece of Cake join the 17 previously confirmed restaurants. Sponsored by the Buckhead Business Association (BBA), Taste of Buckhead runs from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the historic Buckhead Theatre; general admission tickets are $50 and a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75.

Previously confirmed restaurants are Bhojanic, Buckhead Diner, Coast Seafood & Raw Bar, Davio’s, Del Frisco’s Grille, Doraku Sushi, F&B Atlanta, Georgetown Cupcake, Holeman & Finch Public House, Le Bilboquet, Nancy G’s Cafe & Neighborhood Bistro, JW Marriott Buckhead’s Nox Creek Lounge Hotel Bar, Ocean Prime Restaurant, Rock’s Chicken & Fries, Seasons 52 and Twist Atlanta.

“Atlanta is an incredible true food destination, and Taste of Buckhead gives attendees the opportunity to sample the best of what some of the city’s hottest chefs have to offer,” said Smita Solanki, executive director of Buckhead Business Association. “Buckhead is truly the center of the city’s restaurant scene, and attendees can sample dishes from their favorite restaurants and experiences offerings from some they haven’t yet tried.”

In addition to the restaurants, several breweries and distributors will be offering samples to attendees. Confirmed participants include Red White & Blue Distributors, Monday Night Brewing, SweetWater Brewing Co., Bombay Sapphire, Speakeasy Spirits, IPV Trading, Virgil Kaine Whiskey, Chateau Elan, American Spirit Whiskey and Diageo.

VIP attendees have the opportunity to attend a reception at 7:30 p.m. There, they can enjoy chef demonstrations, sip special cocktails and try exclusive food items from JW Marriott’s Nox Creek, Gyspy Kitchen, Chama Gaucha, F&B Atlanta, Vine & Tap and others; they will also receive a gift bag filled with giveaways.

Gas South is the presenting sponsor of this year’s Taste of Buckhead. Other sponsors include Bank of North Georgia and Georgia Primary Bank as gold sponsors and Metcalf Davis CPSs and Private Bank of Buckhead as silver sponsors. Just Add Wine, Whole Foods, Peachtree Tents and Events and Balloons Over Atlanta are in-kind sponsor of this year’s event. Simply Buckhead is the presenting media sponsor, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is a secondary media sponsor.
