Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed addresses Atlanta Press Club

The Atlanta Press Club is set to induct the inaugural class of journalists into its newly established Hall of Fame.

The Atlanta Regional Commission, Clayton County and the cities of College Park, East Point, and Hapeville have received an additional $14.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to further develop the Flint River Gateway Trails, a planned 31-mile trail network in South Metro Atlanta.

One of the best ways to explore the greater Atlanta area is to leave the city and head to a suburb, and Marietta is as good of a place as any to start.
