Ga. man faces Jan. 31 execution

ATLANTA — A man convicted of a 2001 murder in Paulding County faces a Jan. 31 execution, state officials said.

Nicholas Cody Tate was convicted of killing Chrissie Williams and her 3-year-old daughter, Katelyn. If executed, Tate will be the 30th inmate in Georgia to be put to death by lethal injection.
