NEW YORK — There will never be another ballpark like Yankee Stadium.
In 2008, the so-called “House That Ruth Built” saw its last game. I had the opportunity to visit the ballpark one last time and watched the Bronx Bombers beat the Kansas City Royals 15-6.

I think it’s fair to judge the success of a trip by how sad you are to go home. I think this as I stand on a bus that will take me across the tarmac of Florence’s airport to the airplane that is waiting for me. And, I don’t want to go home, but go home I must.
So, I was going to write something about how the night began with a nice dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant then got a little weird when we went to an “international” bar.
