Daily Herald: Injuction could be next step in piercing case

A 15-year-old high school student suspended for wearing facial piercings to school has hired an attorney, and an injunction could be filed in attempt to allow the student to return to class.

Corey Rager was placed on in-school suspension at Dutchtown High School last week after he refused to remove the piercings, even though he knew they violated the school system’s dress code. He is currently serving a five-day in-school suspension.
