Usually, when thinking of an acoustic duo, one does not pair up an acoustic guitar and a saxophone.
However, don’t dismiss the combination as too eclectic.
This combination is the exact composition of Zoot, a spoken word band.
Zoot will be performing at 10 p.m. on Tuesday (March 7) in the Bandersnatch.
The duo consists of Andrew Dykers on guitar and vocals and Rob Chaseman on saxophone.
The group has received rave reviews for their innovative music. Their song “In Spite of You” has been heralded by critics as a
masterpiece.
The group has made a name for themselves by performing with such nationally known acts as Edwin McCain, the Dave Matthews Band and Sister Hazel.
