The economic prospects for Georgia next year “are good,” the “pace of Georgia’s economic growth will be faster next year,” a prominent state economist told the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) on Thursday.

The Atlanta community paused Friday to celebrate the works of four legendary journalists who were inducted into the Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame.

On Nov. 13, Georgians have the opportunity to support nonprofits as part of the third annual Georgia Gives Day. On the first two iterations of the day, which aims to help nonprofits widen their circles of donors, Georgians gave $2.6 million to nonprofits throughout the state.
