State patrol receives H.E.A.T. Grant

ATLANTA — The Georgia State Patrol has been awarded a traffic safety H.E.A.T. grant of almost $1.8 million from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The grant provides funding for GSP to continue the Nighthawks DUI Task Force as well as the department’s Administrative License Suspension (ALS) Program, according to state officials. Georgia Aquarium welcomes beluga whales

ATLANTA — The Georgia Aquarium this week announced the addition of a pair of juvenile beluga whales. Delta adding Wi-Fi to regional jets

ATLANTA – Delta Air Lines said it is adding onboard Wi-Fi to 223 regional jet aircraft operated by Delta Connection carriers. Atlanta airport power outage leads to delays, cancellations

A power outage in Concourse B of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday led to a number of canceled and delayed flights, according to published reports. The outage, which was reported by about 5 a.m. Monday, was resolved by about noon. According to a report on CNN’s website, Delta Air Lines cancelled about two dozen flights Monday morning.
